AWARDS

Staff of CCA Environmental have been involved in four projects that have received national awards of excellence. These include:

•  Lourens River Flood Alleviation (2011): The landscape architect for the project received the 2011 ILASA Award of Excellence.  CCA was also a joint Environmental Winner at the IMESA Awards for this project.

•  Moddergat River Improvement Scheme (2001): The National Committee of the Impumelelo Innovations Award Trust awarded the project team a certificate of excellence for innovative and dedicated work in the fields of poverty reduction and community development.

•  Moddergat River Improvement Scheme (2000): The South African Institute of Civil Engineering awarded the project team the award for most outstanding civil engineering achievement in community-based projects for 2000.

•  Liesbeek Parkway bridge widening (2000): The South African Institute of Civil Engineering awarded the project team the award for most outstanding civil engineering achievement in Technical Excellence for 2000.

•  The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company upgrade project (1999): The Environmental Planning Professions Interdisciplinary Committee awarded the project team the National premium award for excellence in Integrated Environmental Planning and Execution.
