Description:

Basic Assessment for the proposed rezoning of a portion of Erf 10565, Boston, Bellville.  Brights Hardware is proposing to expand an existing parking area ona Public Open Space area.  The proposed project would also entail constructing a left-turn slip lane from Frans Conradie Drive into Duminy Street to improve vehicular access to the parking area and changing short sections of Twelfth Avenue and Duminy Street to one-way circulation.  An Environmental Authorisation was previously granted for the project on 19 September 2007.  However, this lapsed since the activity was not undertaken within the two-year validity period specified at the time.  A new application process is therefore being undertaken.
